Cemented carbide rolls are developed on the basis of cemented carbide tools. Cemented carbide is made of hard tungsten carbide particles and hard phase sintered together with nickel and cobalt bonded phases. The properties of cemented carbide depend on the size of tungsten carbide particle and the content of bonding phase metal.
