軋機(jī)在軋制過程中由軋制力所引起的內(nèi)力沿機(jī)座各承載零件分布的應(yīng)力曲線，稱作應(yīng)力線。為了提高軋機(jī)剛度，減少機(jī)架及各承載零件的變形，采取各種技術(shù)措施后，將這種應(yīng)力線縮短了的軋機(jī)，稱為短應(yīng)力線軋機(jī)。它是高剛度軋機(jī)中的一種。

The stress curve of the rolling force, which is caused by the internal force of the rolling force, along the bearing parts of the frame, is called the stress line. In order to improve the rigidity of rolling mill and reduce the deformation of rack and bearing parts, after taking various technical measures, the mill which shortens the stress line is called short stress line mill. It is one of the high rigidity rolling mills.

短應(yīng)力線軋機(jī)具有如下優(yōu)點：

⑴容易實現(xiàn)負(fù)公差軋制，因為軋機(jī)的高剛度保證了產(chǎn)品的。

⑵可實現(xiàn)軋機(jī)左右兩個軸承的對稱調(diào)整，這對于穩(wěn)定軋制條件，提高作業(yè)率，節(jié)省檢修和更換導(dǎo)衛(wèi)、橫梁時間等具有重要意義。

Short stress line mill has the following advantages:

It is easy to realize negative tolerance rolling mill, because of the high rigidity to ensure high precision products.  

The symmetric adjustment can achieve about two rolling bearings, the stable rolling condition, improve operation efficiency, saving maintenance and replacement has important significance to guide and beam time etc.

楔橫軋機(jī)類型有輥式、板式和單輥弧式楔橫軋機(jī)。三種類型的楔橫軋機(jī)相比，板式楔橫軋機(jī)模具制造較為簡單，模具的調(diào)整比較容易，因而軋件的精度較高，并且工藝可靠.
