H型鋼的翼緣都是等厚度的，有軋制截面，也有由3塊板焊接組成的組合截面。工字鋼都是軋制截面，翼緣內(nèi)邊有1：10坡度。

Ｈ型鋼的軋制不同于普通工字鋼僅用一套水平軋輥，由于其翼緣較寬且無斜度(或斜度很小)，故須增設(shè)一組立式軋輥同時(shí)進(jìn)行輥軋。

The flange of the H steel is equal thickness, has a rolling cross section, and a  section of 3 plates. The I-steel is the rolling section, and the inner edge of the flange has the 1:10 gradient.

The rolling of H steel is different from ordinary I-beam only with a set of horizontal rolls. Because of its wide flange and no slope (or very small slope), a group of vertical rollers should be set up and rolled at the same time. 

型材按生產(chǎn)方法可以分成熱軋型材、冷彎型材、冷軋型材、冷拔型材、擠壓型材、鍛壓型材、熱彎型材、焊接型材和特殊軋制型材等。型材按其橫斷面形狀可分成簡(jiǎn)單斷面型材和復(fù)雜斷面型材。簡(jiǎn)單斷面型材的橫斷面對(duì)稱、外形比較均勻、簡(jiǎn)單，如圓鋼、線材、方鋼和扃鋼等。復(fù)雜斷面型材又稱為異型斷面型材，其特征是橫斷面具有明顯凸凹分支。裝飾單板貼面膠合板（裝飾面板、貼面板），是將精密刨切成厚度為0。

厚鋼板的鋼種大體上和薄鋼板相同。在品各方面，除了橋梁鋼板、鍋爐鋼板、汽車制造鋼板、壓力容器鋼板和多層高壓容器鋼板等品種純屬厚板外，有些品種的鋼板如汽車大梁鋼板（厚2.5~10毫米）

The steel of a thick steel plate is roughly the same as that of a thin steel plate. In all aspects, in addition to bridge steel plate, boiler steel plate, automobile made steel plate, pressure vessel steel plate and multilayer high pressure vessel steel plate, some varieties of steel plate such as car beam steel plate (2.5~10 mm thick)

細(xì)木工板（俗稱大芯板、木工板）是具有實(shí)木板芯的膠合板，其豎向（以芯板材走向區(qū)分）抗彎壓強(qiáng)度差，但橫向抗彎壓強(qiáng)度較高。現(xiàn)在市場(chǎng)上大部分是實(shí)心、膠拼、雙面砂光、五層的細(xì)木工板，尺寸規(guī)格為1220 mm×2440mm。

The woodworking board (commonly known as the big core board and woodworking board) is a plywood with solid wood core. Its vertical (core plate to differentiate) is poor in bending strength, but the transverse bending and bending strength is high. Most of the market is solid, plastic, double-sided sanding, five story blockboard,  1220 mm x 2440mm.
