軋機(jī)在軋制過程中由軋制力所引起的內(nèi)力沿機(jī)座各承載零件分布的應(yīng)力曲線，稱作應(yīng)力線。為了提高軋機(jī)剛度，減少機(jī)架及各承載零件的變形，采取各種技術(shù)措施后，將這種應(yīng)力線縮短了的軋機(jī)，稱為短應(yīng)力線軋機(jī)。它是高剛度軋機(jī)中的一種。
