為什么佛像的眼睛大多是半睜半閉的呢？因為禪定的時候，為了避免被外界環(huán)境打擾，需要閉目。但是完全閉目又易令坐禪者昏睡。ThebronzeBuddhastatueismoreprevalentandlastsforalongtime。于是便有了這種半閉雙目的方法，能夠修幫助之人不會昏睡。在眼睛半閉時，會讓光照進來以保持清醒，同時又不看清外物以避免打擾。于是玉雕中也采用了如此造型，象征著佛、菩薩處于一種“禪那”的境界。

一種全新澆鑄作假，也就是依照原物圖片，用失蠟法或翻砂法造像；

第二種是將兩件殘器拼成一件完整的佛像；

在中國fojiao徒中深受喜愛。一般在大雄寶殿前的天王殿里供奉。左右為四大天王。通過介紹真如之道，使眾生增長智慧、消除煩惱、獲取利益，故名如來，也就是應(yīng)身如來。背身是韋馱。還有一種”三世佛“是以地域劃分的。分別為，東方琉璃藥師佛，娑婆的釋迦牟尼佛，西方的阿彌陀佛。又叫”橫三世佛“建于一九一八年的上海玉佛寺，大雄寶殿里供奉的就是橫三世佛。中國所有寺廟里，大雄寶殿建筑為重要。大雄，即“釋迦牟尼”的意思。
