整個(gè)軋鋼生產(chǎn)過(guò)程總是有以下幾個(gè)基本工序組成的：

坯料準(zhǔn)備，包括表面缺陷的清理，表面氧化鐵皮的去除和坯料的預(yù)先熱處理等。坯料的加熱，是熱軋生產(chǎn)工藝過(guò)程的重要工序。

軋制速度控制：即軋制時(shí)對(duì)各道次軋輥的線速度以及每道中不同階段的軋輥的速 度的具體規(guī)定，也叫速度規(guī)程。

鋼錠或鋼坯在常溫下很難變形，不易加工，需要進(jìn)行加熱到1100℃到1250℃進(jìn)行軋制，這種軋制工藝叫做熱軋。在常溫下的軋制一般理解為冷軋.
